Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dodge City, an IHG Hotel

This is a new(er) hotel— 5 years old— so it still feels fresh and has a good modern vibe. Very clean, comfortable beds, better-than-usual pillows, nice modern bathroom, some stylish design throughout the room. The location is a mixed bag: some pretty unattractive industrial vistas, but there’s a park next door, so, if you have kids or a dog, you have a playground and a nice spot for a dog walk. The hotel is also right next door to Cowboy Capital Grille. Got take-out there that was quite good (excellent grilled salmon!) All made for a pleasant evening after a long day of driving.

Traveling with our family of four and our small dog. Nice big room with 2 queen beds & a sofa bed. It must have been an accessible room since it was an extra wide room, lots of desk / luggage shelf space, comfy beds. We slept in so missed breakfast unfortunately which ended at 9:30. The hotel is located directly across from the Dodge City Museum, so it’s a great location.

The best place to stay in town! Centrally located, great waterpark and playground for kids and close to the Boot Hill museum. Looking forward to bringing the family

The ONLY issue we had was check in. No one was at the counter what so ever and for 10 to 20 mins would try calling 3 times so that they would hear the phone ring and come up but no one would. Yell "anyone here" even at one point I went behide the counter to knock on the employee door. Still no one. They did eventally show up and say sorry but knowing me and my family was recovering from hitting a deer i just wish check out would have been smoother. Everything else was perfect and my little ones loved your breakfast. Room was clean and check out was smooth. So just minus check in everything else was perfect.
