La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham South Bend near Notre Dame

Room and property in general was very clean. Breakfast was hot and much better than other hotel free breakfast offerings. We had a quiet room despite the hotel being sold out with a kids softball tournament taking place in the area.

I have nothing by positive things to say about our stay. Check in was quick and easy. The hotel was conveniently located and easy to access. Our room was clean and comfortable. The fridge and microwave were helpful. Breakfast was offered and included in our stay. The kids went swimming and enjoyed the clean pool and pool area. The lobby is welcoming and spacious. Lastly, the staff was friendly and attentive.

Nice folks. No hot tub and the pool was cold enough to have the kids shivering. Otherwise it was nice.

Besides them bad kids knocking on my door & running it was nice

Nice room, good size for family of 3. Overall reliable room w/breakfast.

There were kids riding bikes in the back parking area near the dog space asking for money.

1. There was stool on the toilet seat( just disgusting) thank God I brought my own cleaning supplies. 2. The pillows literally smelled of garbage and human waste 3. The bed linen had visible dried food stains 4. The staff could not accommodate putting both our children rooms and our room in the same floor at least. We were on two and four. 5. The bed was not two queens. My husband and I are average weight (150lbs and 175lbs) and could not even sleep in one of the beds together. These beds we smaller than a full. We have a standard queen bed at home, along with a full for my three year old. The ‘queen beds’ at this location are smaller than a full but just slightly larger than a twin sized mattress. I will never make the mistake again of choosing a Laquinta, or Wyndham at all. The standards of cleanliness alone still have us distraught.

The location is ideal for visits to my family. The breakfasts include a variety of hot and cold items and the woman taking care of the kitchen and dining area was really on top of it and very welcoming. The room is quiet and comfortable and has all the amenities you’d expect. The gym is decent sized and has a nice selection of elliptical, universal, and a treadmill, and also a very nice rack of dumbbells.

Very clean hotel , great staff , wonderful breakfast, but I came when it was a hockey game and the kids ran all night long until 1am. Parents should be ashamed but hotel was nice and comfortable

The hotel is nicely decorated, breakfast area provides the usual hot cereal, waffles, scrambled age and sausage choices; the hotel is centrally located very close to key highways and major avenues, is within 6-8 minutes driving from Notre Dame University, has a variety of fast food and family restaurants nearby, one pharmacy across the street and another within short driving distance.
