Booked AND paid for a two queen bed room for our family of five. When we arrived at check in we were told they sold out and only had king bed rooms. I don’t know how you sell out of something I’ve already paid to reserve. This is our second stay here and our second issue with check in and a room at this hotel. We got to the room with a king bed and horribly uncomfortable pull out couch. There was dog hair all over the underside of the pull out couch. Save yourself the headache and stay across the street at the Marriott. I will not be staying here again.

This was a great place to stay especially for ISU families visiting the university. It is steps away from the campus and forms. It’s next to Normal City Hall and the Amtrak. Very clean inside and surrounding area. Also a Starbucks on the premises.

Worst nite ever, in any hotel I’ve stayed! Ever!! Check in fine. Upgraded room to 1/4 circle end room at $259 per night. Returned later after family visit. Heater / furnace in room making extremely loud banging sound. Called front desk. It was midnight so stay awake by noise or shut off and freeze. Slept with coats and towels on bed as covers. Room went to 62 degrees. Tried to close curtains to shut out bright lights, but ripped curtains off track would not shut all the way. Bathroom door is a barn door style slider. This takes two arms and muscle to open and close. Not rolling on track. Wife couldn’t use it. Front desk to have fixed or change rooms in the morning. Morning and a sleep in day … nope!! 7:50am big dog starts barking. Just reverberates thru the paper thin doors. No more sleep. Came back second night no furnace noise. So we can be warm. Thank you. All else still needs attention. I asked for adjustment on price, at least for first night. Nothing. So Buyer Beware. The room needed serious repair and maintenance. And hope you’re not sleeping next to a kennel. NOT WORTH THE MONEY! Stay somewhere else.

Overall the property is nice. Not the most fun to get to when you have to park across the street. Especially if u have luggage and kids. I still have this overall a great rating, however I asked to have my TV looked at twice as it was not working. (part of staying at a hotel is having a decent bed and a TV to occupy your time.) I work 12-14 hr days so coming back to a room that you couldn't relax in was a bummer to say the least. The first Gentleman that came up to help was super nice but just told me flat out it was nothing he could fix. The guys who could fix it would be in the morning and they would take care of it. Left, went out and worked, was it working when I returned? Of course not, I mentioned it again and they told me there was nothing they could do about it because the guys are already gone for the day. Although I paid for 2 nights I checked out after 1 and got another room elsewhere so I could relax. I asked for a partial return as it was the hotels fault and I was told they don't do that type of thing. So although an extremely nice property but with the parking and this TV issue (my experience) I will not return. I will not give a bad review though.

This is a great location & the staff was very kind as I checked in with 3 small children ! Rooms were clean & spacious. The wine at the bar was $19 ! So that was all I could complain about - yikes !

Perfect property to stay at with kids at ISU. Easy, validated parking in the garage across the street. Room was super clean!

Our check in was exceptional! Fast, courteous, and friendly. Hyatt (Bryce? Can’t remember his name which I feel awful because he was AMAZING) went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the best for our family. We will stay there again and encourage others to do the same.
