Hampton Inn Suites Bloomington - Normal

My family was very happy with our stay. When I arrived to check in the front desk wasn't sure if our room was ready, so I left my phone number and we went for ice cream. We hadn't been gone for 5 minutes when they called saying the room was ready. I appreciate them valuing my time and not asking me to sit around in the lobby with my young kids. The pool area was very warm, which makes for a more enjoyable swimming experience. The staff checked in periodically to make sure there were plenty of towels as there were a lot of people using the pool. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast options were good although I wish they had a waffle or pancake maker. We stay in the area as a half way point and will do so again in the future.

We utilized the pool and breakfast while there. The pool was warm but maybe a bit too warm? Still nice to have with our kids. The breakfast options were really nice, seemed to be replenished frequently and the area was clean. Housekeeping staff were very kind as well. Facilities were quite in need of updating, notably the carpet in our room was pretty gross (only noted due to a crawling child) and the shower curtain didn’t fit the length of the shower. But overall fine and we had no major issues. Great location!

This location is very convenient to visiting family in the area, shopping and dining. The complimentary breakfast, in room microwave and fridge are also good amenities.

I had a kids birthday party we get settled in to go to the pool get all the way down there pool is broken. No one at front desk notified me of that. Breakfast was very plain. Stains all over the white betting.

The property is conveniently located near the shopping district in Normal. The rooms were spacious, and I appreciated the shelves in the bathroom to store toiletries. My grandkids loved the pool! However, it is time to update the mattresses!!

Very nice property, only disappoint was that the pool wasn't open that's what the kids were looking forward to

Was disappointed about the pool. They said it was open till 10pm when we checked in at 8:30 pm. Got our swim suits on right away and took the kids down for a swim and we couldnt go in. They said it was closed indefinitely.

Hotel staff greeted in not welcoming way, told us we had to pay for parking at the hotel in NORMAL, IL, what in the world!?Then told us their hot tub was not working, so we asked for a discount bc my family was looking very forward to the hot tub, instead of being nice or trying to help she made a rude comment with very poor attitude saying “ you came here for the hot tub!?” And laughed at us. Not cool at all, very poor customer service. TV didn’t work the whole time. Pool was very warm which was wonderful but drains on the floor don’t drain well in pool area so there were huge puddles of standing water everywhere. Gross and dangerous.
