Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Jacksonville, an IHG Hotel

We got there at 4 to check in( check in is 3) and was told room wasn’t ready. We asked how long and they weren’t sure also had no other suites available. Front desk clerk says let me go help her clean it. She comes back 5 minutes later and says it’s clean. We go to room and it is definitely not clean. We deal with because we had to get to football game. Then next morning kids want cereal but they have no milk. Fine we go to shower after swimming and have no water. Can’t shower or flush toilet. Go to front desk to be told it the whole building, nothing they can do we should just check out early. Will never go back

They couldn’t find our reservation. Another family checking in at the same time was in the same situation. They employee stated they have a coworker who is deleting reservations because they think it’s funny. We were left without a room.

Very middle of the road hotel. Not fancy but not terrible. Safe area with two large gas stations within walking distance. They had free cookies at check in which the kids appreciated. Pool was fairly warm. Hot tub was closed.. which is what I was looking forward to. Room was large. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the shower wasn’t very good and the tub felt slick, like it hadn’t been rinsed out properly. Appeared to be some mold on the shower curtain. Otherwise the room was clean. Breakfast was adequate and the food was hot.
