The room was perfect for my family, having 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a king size Murphy bed in the living room. It was spacious, has a great view of the lighthouse and is very close to the beach on one side and the pier on the other. Also very close to many shopping and food options, all are walkable distances. This is my first time in St Simons and I would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ocean Inn and Suites. The staff was very friendly and treated us like family. Our room was clean and quiet and beds quite comfy. We had complimentary muffins, waffles, and fruit for breakfast each morning. And they have a 24 hour coffee machine. They even had fresh popcorn for an afternoon snack. Awesome restaurants and shops are within walking distance. And the beach is about 400 yards away. Can’t wait to go back here again! Debbie W.

Great stay with two small children. Spacious room, great staff and very clean. Room safe did not work, pool shower in did not work so so ready way to clean up sand after beach excursions. Breakfast options were just prepackaged Ottis muffin and oranges and apples and a coffee machine. The coffee was good and always available. We simply added yogurt from a grocery run so this worked fine for us. The microwave and fridge were great to have. We enjoyed walking across the street to the pier/lighthouse park. I discovered easy access to the beach in the mornings (low tide) just a short walk away which was nice for a sunrise walk. Check a map for public beach access points.

The location was amazing and truly I had a pleasant stay and would stay there again. I am also easy to please. I was there for work and stayed for 3 days. As you can tell from photos it is indeed an older hotel that I am sure has changed owners over the years. It is clear it is family owned as the owners and a lot of the staff you can tell are related. They of course had been very helpful and kind.
Being that the hotel was older the rooms are very dated in their look and layout yet are still fitting to the location. They also have done a good job making sure you can charge and use all modern devices. The bed was nice and big and very comfortable.
I only had one real complaint. There is a clear mold problem. I stayed in room 309 on the 3rd floor. you can smell mold as soon as you open the door and there is visible black mold in the bathroom everywhere. This obviously is a health risk. For the sake of their customers and the life of their family business, I hope they solve this fast.

I love staying in well kept family run hotels - that have a wonderful history to them. The customer service was excellent and we really appreciated the time they took to tell us about their main street and the various restaurants around the hotel. Our balcony had a most wonderful view of the lighthouse!

The lighthouse, waterfront, pier, public swimming pool, parks, playground, public library and music venue are directly across the street. A variety of food, drinks and restaurants are within 2 blocks so you can walk to easily. Leave the car at the hotel. Streets and parking can be crowded. Area is popular with families, retirees, exercisers, dog walkers and school groups. Hotel has a pool. There is not a public beach. The hotel needs juice and cereals for breakfast. Your room has a fridge.

Beautiful park across the street and the lighthouse. Two minute walk to shopping, restaurants, and bars. Fantastic owner Bob is super-friendly and built the entire hotel from a vacant lot in the 1980s. Presidential Suite with full kitchen, two bedrooms and Murphy bed can handle a long-term stay for the family. Top GA-FLA game destination!

The hotel was within 5 minute walk of the light house and pier. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and the room was tidy and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone else with family to stay there as well.
