Holiday Inn Express Madison, an IHG Hotel

Our room was facing the woods and we looked out into them and there was a family of deer grazing about which was just lovely. We considered it a good omen.

Stayed at Holiday Inn while attending a family reunion. People were friendly and helpful.

Great stay. Clean, polite staff, just didn’t realize it was under construction. Was looking forward to breakfast with the kids before hitting the road. Great hotel.

Staff was polite and attentive, but the facility is sub par at best. Several family member rooms, including mine, smelled musty, and damp like mold was growling. The back door was unsecured the entire time i was there, making security an additional concern Condensation from the third floor constantly dripped down directly over the entrance to the back door so anyone entering or leaving would get wet. Different types of hair were found in the sink and the tub in my room. New mattresses were piled up against a wall in the lobby for any guest going to the elevator to see. Overall it was terrible experience for an IHG property and I will not return.

We were traveling with a small child, and requested a small crib which was set up before our arrival.

The trip was to see family and the check in process went well. The staff afterwards was not exactly up to standards and were not polite when questions were asked. The food for breakfast was good. Overall a good value, perhaps staff was upset or something and seemed short with guests over the holiday weekend.
