Hampton Inn Douglas

The reason for my not-so-stellar review is noise during the wee hours. The door between the rooms (for adjoining rooms with friends/family) is in no way adequate for blocking sound. I was woken at 2:30 am by a couple having over-the-top-loud intercourse. Then again a half hour later and then AGAIN at 7:00 am. It sounded like it was happening in my room. In all fairness, I did not mention it to the staff, I just hoped it would end soon so I could go back to sleep. I was visiting a family friend who is dying and really could have used a good night’s sleep. This is hopefully not a common occurrence, but worth noting.

We arrived late, but I had called to let them know we would be late. Upon arrival, greeted by Corinthian at the front desk. She was wonderful! Very helpful and courteous with our check in. She also helped with several other things before we went to our room. We also talked with the night manager (I’m sorry I forgot her name), she was very helpful and personable. These ladies made our night/early morning! The only negative thing I have to say is the tub in Room 109 needs some non skid strips or something in it. It’s very slippery and dangerous for old people! Thank you!

We booked this on a last minute drive so our kids could sleep on the long drive we had. The online booking said they were pet friendly and were not, upon arrival we were told that their was a main water pipe break. Was told that water pressure was minimal but there was NONE. No compensation or accommodations were available for this. The breakfast we a paper bag with 1 water bottle and apple and some form of a carb. One of our bags had a mold pastry. Room was clean and staff was friendly but their could be improvements.
