Everybody working there is absolutly stunning! Lee, Heather and Colleen at the frontdesk make you feel like home. They are very helpfull and nice and give you awsome advice on where to eat and go for fun. Heather and Mary-Katharne makes awsome breakfast and are really helpfull. Our room were cleaned everyday. The kids loved the pool. The area is very safe, quiet and calm. If we have to say something bad the bed could be a little bit softer. We liked it so much so we decieded to extend our stay.

We did enjoy our stay in Dahlonega. The hotel was convenient for families traveling about and wanting to be outside of the business of the square. The two areas of improvement were in advertising and remodeling. The beds were advertised as queen beds and they were double. This was fine for kids but if you are 6 feet tall and two people in the bed, it was a bit uncomfortable. The bathrooms needed some TLC as did the rooms themselves. Peeling paint, caulking, etc. Overall, we would stay here again if there were two of us and only one per bed. With a family, it was crowded.

The room was excellent, very clean and nice and cool when we arrived. We only did a one night stay. The night manager was extremely hospitable and awesomely friendly. Breakfast was unexpectedly good. The dining area was somewhat small for the amount of families it hosted. But we made do. Nice place to stay when you visiting the vineyards & outlet center.

Very dated property. We had seen a number of great reviews, have stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses before, and not been disappointed. The entire place needs an update. There was an awful smell one night that the night attendant told us was probably the Shell station refueling it's tanks. The smell was toxic and we had to leave the room. We attempted to move to another hotel however there was no availability due to orientation at the local college. This place was awful. The area was very nice. Many family things to do.

Stayed here while attending a family wedding. We had an extra guest who came along at the last minute and the hotel staff accommodated our request and switched our room to meet our need. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean rooms, close to the center of town. Someone in our group left their keys in the room and they even sent them the next day via UPS!!!

We stayed one night while visiting family in Dawsonville. We were very pleased with the service, cleanliness and location. The free breakfast was very good. Will definitely stay here next time in area.
