Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CORDELE NORTH, an IHG Hotel

There was a booking nightmare so when we arrived there weren't any rooms available (at least not the one we booked). We were told it wasn't the hotels fault but hotels.com fault. I would have just appreciated an apology and assurance that they would do everything they could to accomidate us. Also? We booked 30 days ago. If the hotel knew it was overbooked, then they should have called us to sort it out. Not wait until arrival/day of.They did end up putting us in a smaller room. We had to have kids sleep on the floor and it was incredibly uncomfortable for everyone. Not much was done for the Inconvience (they did refund us the difference between the two room prices, but that's it) . I felt morr should have been done. Breakfast was not so good. 😕 I have been to a lot of hotels and this one was not so great. The staff was nice enough though. The rooms were clean and nice. Pretty sure their queen beds are full size though.

"overbooked" so give room too small for our family of 6. Offered another room with a frozen up. Ended up with two kids on floor without extra bedding despite us going to front asking and half the number of towels needed. No housekeeping, saw one in hall to ask for towels and she told us to go downstairs desk. Breakfast scarce options and low quality.

I booked a suite for my family of 7 and got one king bed and a pullout

Staff was very friendly. Room and hotel were clean. My kids were so excited we could see the train track from our room. Would definitely stay here again.

I was worried after reading some of the reviews but hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Only complaint was i do think walls are thin because i could hear kids running up and down hall and people talking after 10.

The hotel is nice enough but in a very run down area. Our suite had big tvs in each area, the bedroom area & the pullout sofa area. Which was great! We discovered ?? lined up on the bathroom counter which was highly concerning. We cleaned the room ourselves once we seen that. The review police will not let me say what it was. The breakfast was plenty but turkey sausage is horrible & it crumbled in the gravy just destroyed the gravy 😆 otherwise there was lots of other good choices. The worst part was that the walls & floors were super thin. We could hear our kids & other people in their rooms from the elevators. Which were 5 rooms down the hallway & around the corner. I was constantly telling the kids to be quiet which really sucked. The young man at front desk was great & very helpful with the few things we needed. Thanks so much.

One of the main reasons we booked this hotel over others was that they advertised a pool (we have 6 young kids to keep busy). When we arrived the pool was closed for repairs. This should have been noted on the online reservation description. Big disappointment after 8 hours of travel & promising 6 kids swimming for good behavior in the van!

The pool was out of service so the kids were disappointed. We had to get towels after we returned because all of them were taken out of the room while we Were gone and not returned. The beds were comfortable.
