Best Western Waldo Inn and Suites

Always stay at the Best Western, when we r in town for family functions. Great service, great food and comfortable beds

The property smelled damp and moldy upon entering the building. Once in my room the linens had hairs that didn’t belong to me or my child. All the soft surfaces were damp and mold was noticed between behind the glass of a picture frame.

Arrival was easy and parking a breeze. My daughter commenter about wanting a view, so they made sure to give us a room that overlooked the pasture and trees. The room was a nice standard hotel room. We had a king sized bed, plenty of coffee, Wi-Fi, a microwave and mini fridge. There is an outdoor pool and small gym available. Unfortunately, it was in thhe 50s and the pool was colder than the air. Dinner was a bit of a trip as everything was closed by 6pm even though they were listed as being open later. However, a 20 minute drive will take you to Fryer's Chicken in Melrose, which will bot disappoint. Breakfast is ok. The waffle bar ia great and there's a good selection of cereal. The attendant was very friendly as well. I will say that while my lutttle un room coffee maker was broken, there was Always a hot pot available by the elevator. My favorite part was the Seriously HOT water for the shower and noon checkout time. I will probably stay here again next time my child is at Lake Swan for camp ir attending an event in Gainesville.

The older lady that takes care of breakfast was sooo nice, she let my kid follow her around. The young lady at the desk was very nice too, and the rooms were the nicest 2 star rooms I’ve stayed in in a minute. Loved this place so much.

The property is well kept and quiet. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are clean, nice, and spacious. I would recommend a stay here at Best Western Inn and Suites Waldo to friends and family if they're in the area. I am a very satisfied customer and will be returning for another stay when I'm in the area.
