Homewood Suites by Hilton Daytona Beach Speedway-Airport

The two bedroom, two bathroom, living room and kitchenette suite was great for keeping a family of five together, safe and very comfortable.

Location was a must for my family and the Homewood Suites was perfect. Facility was clean throughout and front desk folks were extremely cordial and helpful. Only thing we did not like was 1 breakfast the eggs were green. Nobody ate them and kitchen staff did not replace with a new pan.

The hotel itself was clean and staff was great. Our hotel was under renovations and lost power on our last day making getting out very difficult with kids needing to shower and our room key not working.

Hotel under renovation. Our room was over the renovation area and it was very noisy and disturbing. Starting around 7:30-8 am and some nights ending at 10 pm. The elevator and ice machine were out of service near my room so had to walk ++++ for the other elevator. There was no water pressure in shower or sinks. Not enough towels , had to ask for everything. Also had to ask for housekeeping. Only empty garbage and change towels…didn’t do beds, wash toilets or sinks…but they were very of service when I asked them! All the girls were super nice! A big shot out to Cynthia and Shannon in the kitchen…AMAZING SERVICE! Super nice to talk to and available to help in any way. The front desk offers also an AMAZING service! They are all very nice. So the employees and good service helped for the disappointed points. The pool was nice and warm. We all enjoyed. Love the amenities in this chaîne of hotel. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and kitchen with large fridge. Excellent for us, big family. Overall, the noise was disturbing but I guess it’s for a good reason…the hotel really needs a refresh. But once again, the staff is amazing! Had an overall good stay for 10 nights. Location is super, close to everything. 10 minutes to beach. We would not hesitate to return (after renovations).

Was given a room where the door didn’t really shut easily, the sink was completely clogged and the coffee maker was infested with egg-laying bugs!!! They were very apologetic and immediately moved me to a more acceptable room, but overall seems like things were very worn-out looking and could use some refreshmunf. Disappointed given the previous reviews and typically have good experiences with Homewood. Also, local kids would enter the pool area and smoke pot, then leave. If feral, not a great stay
