Treasure Bay Resort & Marina

Right across from a beach, generally clean, and family-friendly. Be aware of the money-grab's. They have this weird towel card that they'll charge $50 for, charge for parking, etc.

The property was well maintained, convenient location across the street from the beach and right on the Canal. They supplied free coffee, and condiments with access to a toaster and water cooler. That was ideal since we had a decent sized studio with 2 double beds. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Great accommodations for anyone including families. The pool was very nice as well

It used to be a great place years ago …now it’s just a bunch of kids working there . They have terrible customer service skills . And the outside lounge chairs are absolutely awful! The are so uncomfortable. They also did away with the continental breakfast, which was very nice but they no longer offer it and I think that’s just terrible. The elevator was out and the bar is on the roof top, and it is so inconvenient to get to it. The stairs that go up there are so unsafe and are just an accident waiting to happen to someone.

Worst customer service. The photos and amenities in the listing are a lie. They tried to make my kids sleep on the floor as tbey gave us the wrong room. Hot tub was broken.

Brought the family here for three nights to enjoy the beach. Good location. Decent room. Nice pool. Second night we came home and put the kids to bed at 9:00pm. Almost immediately a dog starting barking in a nearby room (we had no idea that dogs were even allowed). We hoped it would stop, but it continued relentlessly. Stepped out in the hall to find another guest staring dumbfounded at the room with the dog. Went to the front desk, where an employee promised to take care of it. The barking continued without interruption for 2 hours — it appeared that someone had just left the dog in the room and gone out to have fun. Management was unwilling (or unable) to do anything. The following morning we went up the desk and explained that we expected a refund for that night (not the other two). Desk clerk apologized, acknowledged that many people had complained, promised that the problem had been solved, and said the manager would contact us about the refund. No call came. Two weeks later we called the hotel for an update. The desk clerk remembered the night, apologized again, but explained that so many people were upset (apparently more than two dozen) that management had decided not to issue refunds. It wasn’t about the money for us. It was about the frustration of laying in bed for two hours listening to a dog howling 50 feet away. It’s hard to imagine a hotel fighting this, but we thought we should warn future travelers.

I found out after I got there (repeat customer) that the hotel was under new management since March and the free breakfast was gone and the free parking. Parking with fees was almost $20/day so I opted to park in the neighborhood and walk to the hotel each night. Good thing Treasure Island is safe. The rooms closest to the outside bar are not quiet rooms. The music in the bar can be heard several blocks away and hence in the rooms too. For people with kids or who go to bed early, good luck. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel needs a second ice machine on 2nd or 3rd floor and at the opposite end of the buidling.

They accommodated my children very well and was extremely helpful when we asked for assistance

I stayed in the area for a wedding and several other friends/family members used other hotels and ours was by far the cleanest. Service was excellent and the staff were friendly. They are going through some renovations due to new ownership but so far seems like they are headed in the right direction. The rooftop bar staff was excellent!

Nice place for families who aren't trying to spend ridiculous prices for some place on the beach
