Crystal Bay Hotel

Absolutely incredible stay here with my family! My husband and I including our baby twins stayed and the staff was so helpful! I felt right at home and will be staying in the future!

Air quality & smells are a big factor in a hotel stay for my family due to allergy and asthma conditions. Carpeting and air conditioning that produces moisture and mildew smells almost always causes asthma flare up for my kiddos, which is exactly what happened when we stayed. I booked 5 nights but left after the first night. I also needed to work from the hotel and there wasn’t a desk. The bed was lopsided and very hard/firm. I would have rather slept on an airbed. Bringing luggage in/out was also a bear, as the entrance only has stairs. A positive was the check in process, which was contactless.

Picked this location for its closeness to the beach and to Tampa area. I was not disappointed. I was able to easily hit the beach every morning and get back to the hotel for a shower prior to visiting family in Tampa area. Breakfast at the hotel was wonderful, parking access awesome.

This was our first time staying at an historic property. Crystal Bay was absolutely a great spot, just minutes from Treasure Island. The staff was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was full of delicious options. Our kids really enjoyed the pool also. They didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back!

The size and set up of the rooms is great for families. I loved the contactless check-in and out. Every staff member I had contact with was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel definately exceeded our expectations. Even though it is an old building (built in the early 1900s), the staff is very proud of its heritage and previous famous guests. They have done an outstanding job renovating and upkeeping this place. The hotel areas and rooms were impecably clean and the ambiance was from an old high vintage high class hotel. But the most noteworthy thing was their outstanding customer service. They treated us like family from the moment we checked in up to a farewell departure. The hostess, Cassandra, was exceptional. The location is excellent, within 10 min of beaches and tourist areas. Even though it does not have all the amenities as bigger resorts, it more than compensates by their friendly staff, pristine cleanliness, great location at an affordable rate. If you are coming to this area, you may want to give them a try.

The whole family loved the nostalgia. Rooms were extremely cleaned and maintained. Staff went above and beyond. Breakfast was great. Housekeeping was 10 stars!

We usually choose the big hotels, but this was one of the coziest and most comfortable stays we have had anywhere in a very long time. Kathy, the General Manager was absolutely incredible. She was so helpful and accommodating to me and my family as we had a very late check in. She made sure that we had all the information we needed to access the hotel and our room. Above and beyond service. We felt like we were home. Should receive 10 stars!!!
