Candlewood Suites Miami Intl Airport-36th St, an IHG Hotel

This is very nice hotel and very good if you are travelling with family.

What i can say about the property is that it was booked for convenience. Its closeness to the airport and the fact that they provided shuttle service was top tier, or so I thought!! I dont know what kind of scam is being ran by the front desk clerk(s) and the taxi drivers, but the shuttle was never available at the scheduled pick-up/drop-off times and the Front Desk claims he wasnt answering, resulting in taxi cabs being called and utilized because no one wants to miss their flight. But what was craziest, was the fact that as i an another family were about to take the taxi ride this morning February 2, 2024 at 6:15am the taxi driver walks to the Clerk and slaps some cash in his hand. this needs to be investigated,as it presented a problem to us as patrons expecting to use the shuttle service!

The hotel was nice and clean, the room felt new. However it was not very child friendly. The bathroomdoor keeps slamming shut. Some hard edges ( bed and table). Big kitchenknives in a kitchendrawer that was accesible for a todler that we needed to store away. Other that that everything was fine. Kitchen a bit weirdly build. Upper cabinets are so low that you can’t really see what ur doing on the countertop. But not a very big problem for just a stay. I liked that there was free parking and everything seemed very clean staff was friendly and fast.

perfect placa and room, super big and confirmable , like a lot the kitchen and bed. but need to put bigger tv and better entertainment programs. to far away from place to eat and will be problem if you get there later than 9 pm. but very good for family and if you have a rent car great.

Omg this hotel was amazing the people was so friendly,understanding,and made sure me and my family was comfortable and happy we will be staying there every time we come to Miami

Omg it was like i was in heaven the room was so clean the staff was so friendly and understanding with me and my family because our flights where early and they allowed us to check in as soon as they finish cleaning 5 rooms to accommodate my family and me i will be returning back there in 6 days

Clean, well maintained hotel. Good size kitchen. Our kids swam in the pool. Walking distance to a few restaurants. Convenient next to airport with shuttle.

The property was nice overall. When we arrived and checked in we were never informed that the water was going to be turned off most of the night starting at 11:00 PM. We arrived with our four children late due to Flight delays. When we arrived we checked in to both of our rooms. When we arrived to our room we were greeted with a note under the door that stated the water would be turned off from 11:00 PM until 1:00 AM for a scheduled repair. This was 10 minutes from the time of check in. I last checked at 2:30 AM and the water was still off. We had to spend the night in a hotel with no running water with our children after a long day of traveling I do not find that acceptable. The air conditioner in one of our rooms was not working so we had to change one of our rooms as well.

Perfect choice for a night with a baby! The crib, kitchenette, and airport shuttle were very convenient.
