The place is amazing, me and my wife spent an amazing time for our 18th anniversary. Would love to come back with the kids

The moment I walked into the Palms, I knew it was going to be an exceptional stay. Everything from our easy check-in, our clean room with wonderful beach front view, the magnificent scent, the perfectly manicured property, the extremely friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, beautiful beach, amazing location, etc. was absolutely perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely be back. A few of our family and friends have also booked their future trips to Miami after we recommended it. HIGHLY recommend 😊

This place has so much potential, and according to the 9.0 rating, so many people had great experiences. We must have been an exception because I would not recommend this place to any of our friends and family. If you end up in a room ending in 2, sorry you paid extra for a view because you’ll look down at the street with a giant dumpster in it. When you let the front desk know that it’s less than satisfactory, they’ll make a sarcastic comment to you and leave it at that. If you order food, MAKE SURE you have them leave it at the front desk. When my husband asked about the pizza that Uber Eats left outside (we took that part up with them), the valet attendant was also rude and sarcastic. It took about 45 minutes and several employees to watch footage to tell us “the Uber Eats driver took a picture of it and then left with it.” Possible, but highly doubtful since they said it was a male and Uber Eats had our driver as a female. We contested it, but they were set on their answer. Also, on the second to last day, our room smelled HORRIBLE. Like a major plumbing issue or gas leak. We had to call three times and each time, the front desk had no idea why we were calling. The smell was so bad, we couldn’t stay in the room. We were in the hall for at least an hour until someone came. And when she smelled it, she finally took us serious and immediately moved us to another room. Again, so much potential. We made the best of it but we were very disappointed to say the least.

Everything about this hotel and all the staff was amazing. We will be recommending to our friends and family.

Very clean n kids friendly environment

I might have been expecting too much from this hotel because of the price per night. I have been searching for weeks where to stay that is child friendly. On the picture the beach they have looks so pretty but For the price i might book next time all the way to the south side just because the water is more clearer not as much sea weeds .. in this side there are big rocks by the shore , the room next to us we could hear them. Even the upstairs we could hear them. The bed is a bit high if you have kids with you.

Great hotel. We went for a family wedding. The valet takes forever and there are long lines for checkin and checkout. The wedding was nice and the servers were excellent

A lovely place to be based for our family of 5 during our stay in South Beach. The Palms is a very clean and well maintained property which is close to restaurants but also a peaceful place to retreat to. The pool area is surrounded by lush green trees, fronds and flowers. There are plenty of seating options. The towel service and ice water is 5 star. There is a very nice, clean strip of beach and swimming area at the Palms. We loved sitting on the beach and the friendly staff down there. The rooms were well laid out and didn’t feel cramped. They were beautifully cleaned every day, There were a few things that were not great. The first thing was the elevators were slow; in both banks only 1/2 elevators were operating which made for long wait times and several trips up the stairs. The second was the service at the main bar which was both slow and not as friendly as the rest of the hotel. One night we waited 25 minutes to be served and made to feel as though we were the ones being impatient. Thirdly, there is a terrible smell of sewage on the main floor around the bathrooms in the lobby. All in all, we really enjoyed our time at the Palms and I’d definitely recommend it to families young and old.

It’s great for family with kids as well. Easy and direct access to beach.
