Radisson Resort Miami Beach

We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time and the staff was able to accommodate an early check-in (by 2 hours). While we had waited for a room to be ready the staff provided us with a key for access to the pool and beach area, and we were also able to leave our bags at the bell desk. The property has a swimming pool that is up to 9’ deep on one end which is deeper than the norm and a welcome change. The chairs and umbrellas offered at the pool and beach are also a nice bonus. However, I must warn you that the housekeeping staff seems to find it acceptable behavior to knock on your room door in the early hours to ask you what time you will be checking out, and proceed to OPEN your room door if you do not answer them right away!! This is unacceptable EVERYWHERE I have ever stayed!! If check-out is not until 11am (or noon for late check-out) why on earth is housekeeping stay knocking on doors at 9am?! My sister-in-law and her family stayed at this same hotel and had housekeeping knock on their door 3 different times to ask them when they would be checking out!! I had called the hotel front desk after the staff just opened my door as I was livid that they thought this was acceptable behavior and I was told that this never happens, yet it happened to my sister-in-law just one day prior! What if they had opened the door while one of my kids were changing, or perhaps I was sharing an intimate moment with my husband!?

Arrived at the hotel, didn’t receive the complimentary upgrade (gold member), so ended up spending an extra $68 per night, I asked for the one bedroom suite upgrade and was told there wasn’t any, then asked for the junior suite and again was told there wasn’t any, was told they only had the queen suite available so we took this one. I checked on hotels.com website whilst we were there and they had 3x one bedroom suites available and plenty of junior suites so we were lied to! We went to our room anyway and found it to be dirty, hairs around the toilet, hairs in the bath tub and hairs in the bed!!! Disgusting!! Someone came up and took photos but didn’t say much, we rang reception and they said they’d change our rooms, we waited half an hour and nothing so had to ring them again (they weren’t busy in reception either). In the end we got our room but then waited a further half an hour for the bell boy to deliver our bags from reception, was told he was on his way several times. The room is very dark and has limited lighting, no lights above the bedroom area, only one small lamp which doesn’t light the room at all. The bathroom is out dated, the water pressure is awful and if you get up early they’ll be no hot water, the reception always had a bad smell in the mornings too. Would not recommend staying in this dump at all!! Never again, we stayed down the road at the Generator and that was far superior and cleaner and also better value for money!!

Loved everything about the Radisson! I had a room with a balcony and the view was fantastic! The only thing is the WiFi that wasn’t accurate. I had to go outside out the perimeter to be able to to use the But overall I recommend it!!emails and the texting to my family.

I was impressed with this resort. The pool needs to be resurfaced but other than that, it was perfect. The beach was perfect, such a fun vacation for my family of 4 (two boys age 8 and 4).

I liked that the beach was in a hop skip and a jump away, along with the bike and walking path. It was just over 2 miles to walk to south beach, which had more shops. I also like that we got to see jellyfish everyday when we would take a short walk in the morning to go get some breakfast. Also, on the walk there were great opportunities to take some pretty niffty pictures. The life guard tower was directly beside the sunning chairs for the hotel. Felt very safe and they were also very helpful when my husband got stung by a jellyfish. Very family friendly! Housekeeping kept the room very clean, while keeping us stocked up with essentials. Thanks for a great experience.

This is a clean hotel with friendly staff. Easy access to family friendly beach. But this is not a “Resort” in the most popular sense. No music at the pool or any other entertainment. It’s just a clean hotel in the mid-beach area.

This was our last minute booking. We booked one bedroom with king size bed and living room with the pull out couch. The bedroom was a great size and the living room sofa was very comfortable. There were 2tvs that was good for the family with kids. The bathroom was amazing - there was a separate shower and a jacuzzi. We also had an area with microwave, lavazza espresso machine and keurig coffee maker also. Fridge and freezer were also there. This was awesome to keep our drinks cold before going to the beach. We had an ocean view room and it was awesome to watch the sunrise every morning. I wish we had a balcony, but there are other rooms with that option. We got to the hotel early and were able to do early check in for $30. We did not mind. Overall hotel is renovated, very clean, modern and just as in pictures. There is only valet parking available but it was very well organized. There is a fee to use valet. We had breakfast and the hotel restaurant- food was amazing. Dinner is served also, it was convenient . You can order snacks and bites , drinks while at the pool as well. Towels are available for use and you can get a beach chair and umbrella at the beach that is within walking distance of the hotel. You can walk to restaurants to get food, cvs is within 5 min walk. Overall great experience. We had amazing time and would definite stay again.

Great hotel to stay with family. Loved the beach access and service. The only thing is that I didn’t like was that the food is so expensive. It’s ridiculous how much the food is.

Loved the entire hotel !!! Friendly staff, extremely comfortable and clean rooms and overall building. Food and drinks were excellent. Very family friendly. Only drawback at first was the parking because I love to junk in my rental and go and sometimes the valet is a little backed up. We parked right across the street in the parking garage and that worked out great. Definitely would recommend. This time was an adults only trip but next time I would feel comfortable about bringing my 2 kids. The pool outside is great and the beach is just steps away.
