Hyatt Place Lakeland Center

I came to this hotel with my family it’s amazing super clean the staff it’s very nice, one thing that I don’t like about is the parking lot you have to pay I think you pay enough money for the hotel room.but I love it.

clean, convenient, roomy for a family of 4. Near train track so could be noisy. Beds not the most comfortable. Never heard other guests. Hot breakfast in am lovely. The staff was probably the kindest I have encountered. Eager to assist. It was rainy and cold for our short stay, but the cute pool is heated. Walkable. Fun restaurants with in walking distance. I believe a shuttle will transport to the area. h

I was in town for a cheerleading competition for my daughter 10/21-10/22. Hotel had its usual wear and tear .. was definitely dated . Rooms were ok and l did like that it had two beds and a couch. I did not notice right away because one would think they are sleeping on clean sheets but noticed that the down comforter had mold on it in the morning . I discovered this after I had left under this and around my facial/ mouth area. Me and my child shared the bed . I am so disappointed as this was my first time ever staying at a Hyatt . Room 202 I was told that because I paid through hotels.com I was unable to be refunded but could be given points to gain a free nights stay . It’s been 24 hours and I have not been reached out to as of yet . I

This property had so many things we didn't like from the staff not knowing they had a shuttle to the local school right out front especially when asked to the kids running through out the hotel. We know the kids will do that but it seemed to be right a constant in front of the desk and work areas and until midnight. Bathroom lay-out is strange and not comfortable nor are the beds. We will not be staying here when we come to visit our kids in College again.

This is my second stay at the Hyatt Place and I have to say what took me back was the staff. Everybody is sooo nice, all of them. We were really impressed how they are always working, every minute of the day. The breakfast is always going, the ladies do an amazing job to keep it up. The rooms specially the bathroom was squeaky clean which is always a plus. We will be back for sure. The rooms are very spacious perfect for our family. We already stayed at the fancy hotel downtown, but for us is the Hyatt Place. Thank you everybody for the great experience!!!! keep the good work.

Great place took my toddler for spring break the morning staff was very welcoming! There was a weird smell that lingered our stay from when we walked in the room until we left but it could’ve been the cleaning products.

My main issue was that the property is next to a sports facility that was hosting a basketball tournament and so the majority of guests were players and families. There was constant coming and goings out of rooms at all times and gathering in the lobby area. I think this should be communicated to other guests before they book. I've stayed in hotels before when high school groups are also staying there, and it does not make for a quiet ,relaxing stay.

We stay there for one night. It was clean and recelptionist very friendly. Good for families.

I will never go to that hotel again. The second we stepped into the lobby we smelled something bad, but it was mild. When we got upstairs walking in the hallway to get into our room, it was so stink. Once, we opened our room, it was the stinkiest room I’ve ever smelled. It was horrible, the kids started coughing immediately and we went back in the lobby telling them the room stinks. They apologized and they did not have another room to switch us. They sprayed the room and it was still stink.I called a different hotel down the road and we stayed there. Hyatt hotel almost ruined our son’s birthday. The staff was nice, but it doesn’t excuse the nastiness going on there. The city should inspect this place.

Staff were nice. Property in serious need of an update. Also, no one was around when the drunks rolled in at 4 am and woke up the hallway yelling. Perhaps security for the site would be a good idea since this seems to be a family hotel.
