Best Western Plus Lakeland

I was very pleased with my choice here. I wasnin Lakeland for 2 nights on family business and just wanted a place to sleep, and shower with a breakfast of some sort of breakfast included. I checked some reviews and chose this hotel basically on price/value basis. The facility, the rooms.and the staff were.above average in my opinion. And the breakfast was way beyond what i expected from a "lobby breakfast". Scrambled.eggs, fried eggs, Sausage patties or links, gravy, pancakes, biscuits, juices, fruits,.coffee. And in my opinion the breakfast staff was the best I've ever experienced for an included breakfast. The lobby was very nice and very comfortable, my room was nice and comfortable and well attended. Plenty of parking. The neighborhood is.sorta commercial/industrial so a car is needed but i was fine with that. Thos was a grsat choice for lodging!

I was disappointed that they had no 2 queen beds on the first floor. We were told that they never do. The light went out in the bathroom on my husband since the hotel key card was not in the slot to keep the light on. Not a very good idea if kids play tricks on parents and take the hotel key out of the slot or vice versa. We don’t have any kids in our party.

The property was fine,but there is nothing to do or dine except there at the hotel,and it has no pool to swim or entertainment for yourself or family.

Employees were not at desk tending to guests. Guests were waiting 30 minutes to check in. The employees were seen having inappropriate behaviors in a room with the blinds open, my children also observed this.

The worker Angie was extremely rude. She is not aware of the hotel policy that children 12 and under are free and charged me $60 for a two year old. I had 7 people for my reservation, 4 children 12 and under and 3 adults.

We had a good stay. Nice hotel for a family.

Nice, clean and staffs are friendly. But our family had to take cold showers😔. No hot water around 7:00pm or so until morning. Don’t know we will be back again specially we have two kids with us.

The suite was inviting and family friendly. Also, my grandchildren enjoyed breakfast every morning.

The hotel was very clean and the staff super friendly, only draw back wish they had a pool on site for the kids or a play ground to keep them entertained. But overall really good hotel and the comp breakfast is a huge plus. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay here.

Given that the property is new, everything is super clean and in great condition. We arrived late and Carol was superb! Definitely would stay again when visiting family.
