Tru By Hilton Pompano Beach Pier

Loved the property and free breakfast. Did not like that younger children of guests monopolized the pool and were playing “football throws” - nerf ball, across pool, while adult guests were in pool. Parents really not controlling their children and are rude/ignorant. Also, guests taking excess pool towels, resulting in no pool towels available when guests use pool later in day. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Unpleasant staff in Breakfast area. Micro managed food. Parking is terrible. Front desk staff looked as if they just came from a slumber party, t-shirts and very wrinkled clothing. Why are bar hours not user friendly, why wait till 3pm on a beautiful day in a beautiful place on the roof with a fantastic view to share cocktails. Had to take my money across the street. Not adequate furniture, need 2 chairs, not one. Prefer a dresser when extended stay involved. Unload my suitcase on a dormitory type shelf, terrible idea. And the hanging area is located above the serving area. Are you kidding, almost knocked my drink over or worse clothing dipping into the ice bucket. In room 511, we heard noise like moving furniture overhead on roof area almost every day. The ENTIRE staff needs a course on basic customer service. VERY DISAPPOINTED. expected more from a Hilton property.

This is a very nice modern hotel. Rooftop bar was nice touch and the gym and pool are right next to each other which was convenient. Very close to the beach a few minutes and they have a chair to borrow for the day. There is a playground a few minutes for kids near the beach. The pier is right across from hotel very close. Great experience with or without kids. The breakfast is simple and good, but can be a little full for the amount of people eating, but ultimately not a long wait. Parking is $21 a night.

Great location. It’s right at a beach playground and the pier. Clean hotel. Good breakfast. Nice employees. Rooms are on the smaller side. The use of room keys can get annoying. You have to put your room key in a slot by the bathroom door to make the lights work and they don’t tell you at the front desk. Also have to use it to go up or down at the elevator. I get the first floor but shouldn’t have to use it to go down. Still I would stay here again. The kids enjoyed the game area.

Great hotel, right next to restaurants and beach. Entire staff at front desk, at breakfast buffet, and at maid service, were super friendly and professional. Front desk clerks went out of their way to accomadate us. Buffet had plenty of hot and cold food and was spotless. Maids asked multiple times if we needed anything while passing in hallway. great pool, great rooftop bar, and great views from ocean front balcony. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Advertisement of coffee maker in room. I asked if they could give me one and showed ad. They would not. Only one side has coffee makers . You have to park in a parking garage next door . Pain to get in and out of and no stores close by. Loud music at 12 am someone where . Restaurant upstairs adds a $15 charge to your bill. For tip and to the house. Overpriced with limited menu. $21 a day to park where you have to walk to it . Staff was yelling at breakfast people embarrassing to guests it was like a school cafeteria with mean workers insulting people and yelling at guests kids and parents . I was by myself said hello and they were nice to me but not nice to these others . Staff all on their phones texting . At desk and at cafeterias. The ad states coffee maker give the guest a coffee maker . Lol they gave me coffee but wouldn’t give me a coffee maker . Manager I guess was send the add the girl copied the ad and sent it with no reply . No one greets they just on their phones .
