Comfort Suites Fort Collins Near University

I booked on hotels.com. The website stated we could get connecting rooms. This is what I was looking for so I booked it for a family trip. I usually cook with other brands of hotels but they didn't offer the connecting so I decided to give this a try. Upon checking in, the front desk guy told me they don't offer connecting rooms...what?! I wasn't happy, but we were stuck. Don't book if you plan on using the pull out couch. It was sooo bad! I've never see one this bad before. There was also a matchbox car in the bed when we pulled it out. When was the last time housekeeping opened it? The extra blanket in the closet had grass in it! It must have been used outside, folded and put back. Does housekeeping not change these out for every stay? Or at least check to see if they had been used? Disgusting! Speaking of disgusting if the included breakfast. Don't bother if you have taste buds. Lastly, the fridge is not very cold. Maybe a bit colder than room temp. I would never stay here again. I'll also call the hotel directly when I need more specific things like connecting rooms. I'm not sure if this is the hotel's fault or hotels.com's fault.

This hotel was great for our family of 5. The beds were comfy, breakfast was yummy, the service was great and the location was quiet (even on a CSU Homecoming weekend). Would stay here again.

The spa was filthy, there was a tear in our carpet, the couch was broken you could only sit in the middle, at 11:45 PM the front desk called our room woke our kids because another guest smelt smoke then less then 10 minutes later knocked on our door to verify we were not smoking. The guest above us woke us up at 6 AM from just walking no noise barriers between rooms. No hot water for tea, not enough room for guests in breakfast area. It was honestly a horrible experience not worth the $200 we spent.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at we stayed with kids as I was here working. There was a little mud on the floor my daughter use towels to wipe it up and they charge us $150 for a few towels. I feel that because they don’t have business they just take a vantage of their customers. Be very aware of this if you stay here, and I’ve met a couple other people who has told us the same thing, so please just be aware

Overall= great. The only thing I have to complain about is I could not cancel my reservation 10 minutes after I made it. I was given the wrong hotel to stay at so I was not with the rest of my family. We had to drive 20 minutes all the time to meet up with them. Very inconvenient. You need to give people at least a couple of hours to cancel in case a mistake is made. Won’t make reservations again because of this.

If you are hoping to be greeted by meth heads that have no idea what they are doing, stay here. I specifically requested to get a late check out and then was kicked out early and had to sit in the lobby with my 7 month old baby for an hour and a half. Took me 30 minutes fo check in because the people at the front seat were high out of their minds. Everything smelt like smoke and the floors in our room had not been vacuumed in who knows how long. All around a bad experience.

The front desk clerk who checked us in was new so I dont hold him responsible for the slow check in. The next morning however we had the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door. Our baby was asleep and the house keeping staff knocked loudy on the door to check if anyone was inside. It was still early and check out was still a few hours away. If a guest has a "do not disturb" hanger up and its not near check out then dont disturb the guest.

The lady in the breakfast area was very helpful and pleasant. The cleaning crew was great too. What I didn’t like is that they require you to have tickets to get breakfast and they don’t provide them to you when you check in, I had to go back to the reception desk and wait for someone to be available to give me tickets for my family to get breakfast when they say it’s included. Another thing is that they washer and dryer was not working and we stayed for several days, my kid’s went swimming and I had to travel back home with wet stinky clothes. Very disappointed.

I was in town for 5 nights and was pleased with the service, condition, and overall management of this hotel. My room was extremely clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at this location again and recommend it to friends and family.

We enjoyed our stay. We were having work done to our house and needed to stay in a hotel for a couple of days. Friendly staff, nice room, comfortable beds, the kids enjoyed the pool. Nice breakfast.
