Comfort Suites Castle Rock

We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff were lovely and helpful, but we had an issue with the pool turning our daughters hair green. Like bright lime green!! When we brought this to the owner, he was dismissive and said it wasn’t his fault or the pools.. it must be a product that my daughter uses in her hair.. she is 12. She does not use any products in her hair. We were disappointed by his lack of care to our situation. There were other women who had their hair turn lime green and nothing was done. Our kids were quite disappointed that they could not use the pool at the hotel over our stay as that is always a big part of the fun.

This was our 2nd stay at this motel. Overall a very good experience, only bad thing i have to say is that its fairly close to the interstate so its kind of noisy. Otherwise plenty of room for a family of 5. Customer service was great, clean room, and plenty of space.

I would NOT stay here again. Very disappointing. The shower drain in our room didn’t work so we couldn’t bathe our kids in our tub the entire stay. I notified the front desk of this issue the morning after we checked in and was told the “owner” would come up and fix it while we were out of the room. Not fixed. The next morning I called again and was told maintenance would come. Never came because I was told they didn’t know where their maintenance man was. The next day I was told someone would come to the room and fix it again….. then I was finally told it couldn’t be fixed and offered another room. That was 4 days later! Unacceptable. I would have demanded a new room right away but I kept being told it would get fixed that day blah blah blah. Nope. So we had to hold our kids in the shower so their feet didn’t soak in dirty water. Gross. Also, tried to contact the general manager about this several times. No response via email and she was never at the hotel to talk to in person. DO NOT STAY HERE

First, I got a blank room key so had to get that fixed. At checkin was informed that the hot tub was out of order. The snack machine also didn't work. Biggest disappointment was the pool area. My kids are 5 and 8. The pool started at 3 feet deep so they could only play in about a 4 foot area. It's a tiny pool and gets deep super fast. It was dirty, aged, in big need of a remodel. We were also informed and had to sign a notice that there would be no house keeping during our stay (weird for a Friday- Sunday, i thought). Got back to our room on Saturday afternoon, someone had been there to clean it..... very strange. Front desk staff wasn't super pleasant, seemed annoyed when i needed anything at all. Breakfast was great though! Likely won't stay again as even the mattresses were awful.

I come to castle rock every other month to pick up my son for our visit. I chose comfort suites as my hotel this time and was not disappointed! I had both of my younger children with me, 3 and 1, and they were very accommodating! Made sure we had everything we needed and were well taken care of! They also had ALL the movie channels and the Tv was HUGE!! I was able to watch my western movie channel without interruption!! Thank you guys for being so helpful and I will DEFINITELY be staying here again in the future!!

Roman was good, expierence was fine. Had to use lotion bottle provided to hold up the stopper so when my kids showered, it would drain. Room was ok, it the smell was terrible. Side from being the most dated Comfort Suites I’ve stayed
