Beautiful view from the NOLA room. The bar was right under us but can’t even hear anything from it. The parking is first come first serve basis on the streets. Restaurant is good, but had to order to go because the floor gets packed fast so plan ahead or if you have kids, order early. The room was gorgeous overlooking the river and the mountains, the bath has an oversized cat’s claw bathtub that is a must soak after a long drive. Over all our stay was awesome!

Our stay at Surf Chateau was only for 1 night, but it was a very nice change of pace. The room was great: great beds, shower, toiletries. The surrounding area is very nice and scenic. There is a trail that runs along the Arkansas River with areas to stop and sit. Areas for kids to play and rock climb. We loved it and will definitely try to stay there again for a longer period of time. We didn't get a chance to visit the town and shops-but they look very nice. Reminded us of Rosemary Beach in Florida.

What a gem. The property felt upscale yet friendly and comfortable. Beautiful location on the river with views of the mountains. Awesome clawfoot tub and nice amenities like real wine glasses, electric kettle with tea and Nespresso machine. We did it as a family getaway but it would also be great for a romantic escape of girls weekend.
