Holiday Inn Windsor Wine Country, an IHG Hotel

Great conditions, room was clean as well as hotel. I felt safe being alone with my kids. The restaurant on site was actually very good and kid friendly. Great place to stay and easy to get to as it is right off the freeway.

Bottom line do not go to this property if you cherish your money in your bank period. I stayed at this location and agreed to a $100 incidental deposit. I paid through Expedia and got a room for me and my children 3 of them for roughly under $400. Before check out I was sent a text for upsell. Do not agree to any of the upsails that they send you on the text. The upsails will not live up to the expectations that you will see in the text message. Plus you do not need to buy breakfast if it came in your purchase with your room. Unfortunately I was not aware of that. So during my stay they decided to take a $328 deposit for incidentals. Even though I let them know I did not want their breakfast or their extras. While I was sleeping unfortunately they decided to take a additional $100 for incidentals. Imagine if I didn't have money to feed my children all of this money was in imaginary land for incidentals which I could not use or spend during my trip. Which now made my trip on a very tight budget. After I checked out I did discuss with management Mr. Nick Desai And colleague George Ramirez that my money would be released. Nick does not like women to speak loud. Nick had George call the police on me so Windsor police department came. Of course I was not arrested. Today I woke up and saw that 200 Was refunded but they kept $128 as to why I do not know

Stayed here for a family wedding and while the room was very nice, quite and clean; the service staff was not accommodating at all. There was never any mention of breakfast being served at the hotel and when we went down we noticed they had breakfast going so we decided to stay and eat unaware that it was not included in our stay. The breakfast attendant was kind enough to let me know I could go to the front desk and ask for a discount coupon but the manager was less than willing to do that for my family and I. To top it all off, I payed cash upon arrival for the room, gave them my CC for deposit, and still got charged on my cc again. Waiting to hear from the manager on this dispute.

We stayed here for one night for an appointment in the area for my husband. One of my children ended up getting sick and vomiting in the bed in the middle of the night. I called the front desk right after, they brought up a change of bedding. When I checked out the next day they didn’t say anything when we checked out. We realized while we were waiting for my husband to get out of his appointment that my daughter forgot her Apple Watch in the room. I called and headed back as soon as we realized and then my credit card was charged $200. It was charged right after I hung up with the front desk. When I got there they said that they were charging me the extra fee for the sheets and tried to say there was feces on the sheets. Spoke to the manager and they cut the fee in half. I feel like if I hadn’t called about the lost Apple Watch they wouldn’t have charged be because we were charged right after I called. We had been gone for a couple hours. We left at 8:30 I went back a little after 10:30ish and they claimed they already cleaned the room completely and tried to wash out the sheets. I read through their policies and it does not state what an extra cleaning fee is or what there policy is on if you have an illness while staying in there room. They tried to compare my child being ill to an adult drinking too much and puking everywhere. I obviously wouldn’t have brought my child with me if I knew he was going to get sick. Especially when it came out of nowhere.

We arrive at 4 am after a long drive from SoCal with 2 kids (3 and 1year) and are very tired to find out our booking had been canceled ( even though we called and said we would be coming in at this time and promised we would have our booking ) but luckily the guy a the front desk talked to the manager and we got our room! And the next morning we also got our breakfast vouchers :) so we could enjoy the very Delicious Breaskfast Buffet! The staff in the buffet area was amazing! The fitness room and the indoor pool were good too! Location is very nice too!! We will book here again next time we come up north

Very clean, new and tge beds were very comfortable! We had a room next to freeway , we didn’t hear traffic . It only took us 15 min to get to Safari West . There is a grocery store , variety of family friendly restaurants and a Starbucks a little over a mile away!
