Hotel De Anza, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

After looking at multiple different hotels, we settled with this hotel, which was not cheap for what we got. Just like others have mentioned, I was surprised to not have parking at the property. You can opt to valet for $47 or try and find parking yourself. Either way, it was inconvenient. The staff there were very friendly and professional, but the property itself was another story. The room my family and I stayed in was pretty bad. The carpets look and feel old. The windows were covered with spider webs, inside and out, the curtains were half broken, but were able to be closed with some effort. The bathroom was very dirty and dusty, broken tiles and the shower floor had a huge crack on it. It’s something you would expect at a very low budget hotel at a truck stop in the middle of nowhere. The dust was simply ridiculous. My son was sneezing so much from it. The only positives were the location’s convenience and the friendly staff. It was unfortunate that the pictures for the hotel on Expedia were deceptive. The actual hotel room did not look like the room we got. Learn from our mistake and look elsewhere.

Hotel is very nice and clean the only wrong thing with this hotel is their parking situation! Be prepared to pay up to 50.00 dollars a night for valet parking because that’s all the have unless you go find parking on your own but risk getting towed … also our car rental was badly scratched while in their possession so be aware !! I didn’t notice it till I had driven off and was at the gas station … young kid parking cars was overwhelmed and hopefully I dint get charged for that big scratch or you’ll be hearing from me further

Came here to celebrate my daughters birthday with friends and family. A really nice hotel in a prime area of Downtown San Jose near bars and restaurants in a 5 min walking distance. Parking was easy. Staff was really accommodating with finding rooms close to each other for our family. We had an issue with the AC and had to change one of our rooms but maintenance was friendly, quick witted and grabbed our new keys and a cart super fast. We had a wonderful comfortable stay. I recommend this place. Thank you.

LOUD. You can pretty much see the faces of the people in the planes that are landing. But it is a very pleasant place with a lot nearby. I like the theme, and our junior suite was quite spacious for a downtown hotel.
