Best Western Stagecoach Inn

Stayed overnight prior to heading off to run the Rubicon Trail. The accommodations were good but small. Since it was just me the size was good, but it would be small for a family. The bed was decent (a little firm). I would stay again if in the area.

The pool was stated as heated and it was not. Even the kids that were in the pool said it was to cold.

Our trip to Pollock Pines/Placerville area was to Apple Hill Farms(pumpkin patch)...Drove 4 hours for what i thought was pumpkins. On arrival i seen why the wife/kids (Boss Lady) wanted to go, a pumpkin patch like no other ive seen. Our Hotel Best Western stagecoach was literally no more than 3-4 miles on a stretch road. Surrounded by trees and wilderness was awesome, very relaxing and quiet...The staff was great, rooms were clean, and the outside all you see was trees. It was perfect for us. Definitely recommend it

Pretty clean and quiet but if you come for the pool dont waste your money it is cold as ice even if it is 90 outside. Even very motivated kids gave up. There is also a loud engine running for 5 mins every hour or so all night!

Checked in easy enough. There was a couple arguing outside for over an hour though. The woman at the front desk went outside but never said anything to them or asked them to not do it in public. There was four of us ( 2 adults and two children) in a room with two full size beds. The smell of air freshener or cleaning product was pretty overpowering. The room is advertised as sleeping four, but there was only 3 towels. I went to ask the front desk for more towels and a couple extra pillows (each bed comes with 3). My 3 and 5 year old roll so we try to put a pillow on the side of each of them so the don’t roll off the bed. I was told that they didn’t have any other pillows, then the front desk said they just didn’t know where they were kept. I found this odd since it’s not a large complex. She didn’t say she would try and look or anything. It was a Sunday night and not busy. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

We stayed at the Inn for a few nights while we picked up kids from Mountain camp and dropped kids off at Sugarloaf Fine Arts camp. It was perfect for our needs. The room accommodated one adult and four teens perfectly. The kitchen was great for the abundance of snacks and drinks teens consume. The pool, although small was an added bonus to cool off. A lovely touch was a shared room guests can have breakfast and snacks.
