Most dining is closed in the day. Also the adult pool has children. There is año strict policy. Also some staff were very rude and had no hospitality.

Extremely overpriced and all of the reasons we stayed (eg bowling for kids) we had to pay an additional $100 per hour!!!

We stayed in the signature one-bedroom suite. The room was very clean and definitely not lacking amenities. The entire complex in general is still pretty new and the area is very quiet. Until the area gets busier, it's definitely one of the most comfortable and relaxing hotels we have stayed in. Some of the downsides are: the guest check-in area is so easy to miss and I'm sure it's the main reason people end up checking in at the Meritage (sister hotel) instead of at Vista Collina front desk. The area in general lacks signage (and some of the existing ones are only visible from one direction, and so again, easy to miss). There is also the lack of attention/service from the staff. Perhaps it's due to the still active COVID protocol, but even when we requested room cleaning service, no one came (we made sure we did not have the privacy sign on the door). That said, every one of the hotel staff we did run into is very polite, professional, and helpful. It's just that we couldn't seem to get them when we needed them. Overall, still a great place to stay for families and if quiet comfort is what you are looking for!

Pros: clean, updated property and spacious rooms. You can walk across the street to the sister resort Meritage and use the adult pool there since there are a lot of kids at the vista Collina pool. Cons: everyone that worked at this resort were clueless about anything in the resort including opening times of bars and restaurant and deli. It seems like the employees were all hired the day before and had no idea what they were doing. I asked for hot water at the coffee shop and they proceeded to put HOT Boiling water into a plastic cup for iced drinks. These people have no common sense at all. I also asked the girl who is setting up the salad bar (at the store inside resort) what time the salad bar opens, and she did not know. You’re setting up the salad bar! How do you not know when it opens?!?! There were a lot of yelling kids at the pool, you would think they’d have a bigger pool for the number of rooms they have at the resort. The coffee shop served breakfast foods and they ran out of a breakfast item at 9am on a holiday weekend. Was this resort opened yesterday? They were not prepared at all for the guests staying at the hotel. During check out, they told me I was going to be charged for taxes and resort fees and handed me the itemized receipt...and when I looked at it...they charged me for VALET parking which I did not use. They blatantly lied to my face about what was being charged and tried to sneak in valet charges in my bill. Ridiculous!! I would not stay here again

Perfect for our family getaway. The staff were all very nice, friendly and attentive. The rooms were clean. The suites had everything we needed in the kitchen. A bit pricey for drinks by the pool but all in all, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.
