Wayside Inn

We really enjoyed our stay here! It was so nice to have a separate living room area and kitchen. The bathroom layout was a little interesting (you needed to close both bedroom and living room doors for privacy), but overall we really liked the amenities and had a relaxing time (slept well too on the fluffy beds!). I think the only thing that was a bummer was on the second night, there was a family above our room and we could pretty much hear most of their conversation through the floor, but thankfully, no one stayed up too late.

It’s our 3rd time staying here and we won’t be staying here again for 2 key reason first one being the main 1) front desk staff is not polite, they mistreat customers and even are offensive to customers for no reason (just a grumpy hateful front desk lady greeted us) I was so nice to them but they still found ways to offer an insult despite our kindness as customers to her - the front desk who is supposed to welcome us. Cannot comprehend this have never experienced it. For $500 a night even for $100 night, staff should welcome you but there you go - we are never coming back to your property. You should train Amanda and your staff to be nice (the evening shift was nice) but morning shift with Amanda turned us off and made our 1 day visit unpleasant. Second reason 2) fireplaces are gas burning even when they are not turned on (you will see a flame continuously there) and CO2 levels are at unhealthy level / dangerous for guests especially infants. This should not be allowed at all but few people know it’s unsafe. Hope they fix it asap.

We stayed for one night. It was clean and comfortable. We were able to make dinner in the kitchen. The bathroom had nice lighting. The tub was nice and deep and had jets. The beds were comfy. We had a room where you had to walk through the bathroom from the front room to get to the bedroom, although that was odd it worked out fine for our small family of three.
