Stanford Park Hotel has been one of my family’s favorite hotels for years now, so this review is long overdue. The property, service, and amenities are outstanding and we never miss an opportunity to stay here.

My daughter attends college in this town, so I've stayed at a few properties. THIS property is terriffic. It has all the earmarks, quality and style of the Waldorf Astoria. From its' entrance, to the lobby to the hallways. You feel like family and are treated as such. Food and beverage service in the bar and restaurant are 5 star...amenities abound. From complimentary fresh-baked cookies every night, to no-charge use of bicycles.(TIP: Get a bike and explore Stanford and downtown Palo A lot - you'll not regret it.) Location is stellar and priced accordingly. IF, and this is something NOBODY can control, there were a downside, it would be the frequency of the commuter train. (I open my windows always because the cool air is a welcome plus to sleep.) So, will I be back? Absolutely.
