The Village Lodge

It was a nice, clean space that had lots of space for a family of four.

We got flooded out. Fire supression system flooded upstairs, and it came into pur unit. Middle of night evacuation with small children, and no full refund after we got wet and smelly

Great stay! Very convenient location. Very good for families traveling. Not so much with basement parking but I understand with the hotel’s location. Overall, happy with our choice to stay here.

Perfect location for kids to walk to the gondola. We love the village for the location and the dinning options so we aren't driving around.

This is the 2nd time we have been here & we just love it. The employees are always friendly & attentive. We really recommend staying here, especially if you have little ones like me!

My family of 6 and sometimes plus have been coming to The Village Lodge for the past 5-6 years. We arrived on July 4, 2023 and rented a three bedroom condo for 8 people. As soon as we arrived it was a warm day and the lodge does not have AC due to it being in high elevation. So I attempted to turn on all of the ceiling fans in all 3 bedrooms but to my disappointment, none of them worked. I called the front desk and they sent a repair man who had no idea where the remotes were and was unable to repair it. So we ended up using stand alone fans in each of the rooms. Next the cabinet at the dining room was falling apart, every cabinet door and drawer was broken. It was the same for the kitchen cabinets. We were also missing a chair at the dining table. Finally, the last straw was the balcony door. It was broken and did not shut completely. I called about all of these concerns at around 8pm that night. The front desk didn't do anything about any of it. Finally, the next day, the balcony door almost fell off. It was hanging by one of three hinges. This is when I finally complained when I checked out by phone. Now, I would understand if this was a cheap hotel but this is a $550 a night 3 bedroom lodge. Not cheap so I expected better. I was refunded an odd amount of $215 for all my troubles. Let's be clear, I didn't ask for a refund. I wanted good service and a refund is REACTIONARY. I want you to be PROACTIVE and do what's right DURING my stay! Booking elsewhere in '23.

We liked the location of this hotel, plus, it is at the center of a lot of activities, shops and restaurants. It is an ideal place for a family vacation.

Perfect place to stay w kids to enjoy the snow - even in June!
