We had high hopes. But the pools were small and not overly clean. All but two of the deck chairs were torn and not usable. But it is flatly immoral to charge a family $300 a night in the middle of a summer heat wave when you have no air conditioning in your rooms. It's 2024. I don't care if you're at 8,000 feet elevation and don't typically need it. Summers are still hot. So either discount the rooms tremendously during those times, or make patrons well aware that they will swelter. The room wasn't tolerable during the day, and even at night, we couldn't sleep through the sweat. Miserable experience.

It was a nice place however there weren’t any dining options in or near the hotel. You had to drive into town to eat. The portable fans did nothing to cool the place. There is NO A/C for anyone reading this. The heat was unbearable. The pots and pans need to be replaced. The food kept getting stuck which ruined my meal plans. The TVs are outdated, too small, and not loud enough to enjoy. There aren’t very many things to do nearby. Just like we had to drive into town for dining we had to drive out into town to get to where there was entertainment. The twin beds were uncomfortable for my kids you can feel the springs of the mattress when you lay down. They didn’t get to the rest they needed.

This comment is irrelevant if you are going there in the winter. My proposal is they should shut down the resort in Summer months. We went in July when it was 100 degrees. And this must be the first Resort i have ever been that does not have air conditioning. They are not set up for cooling air, only offer heating option. We could have gotten a hotel room for much cheaper with A/C. Upon checking with the front desk their advice was to keep the windows open at night as it gets cooler at night. We were traveling with kids. The little one couldn't fall asleep because it was uncomfortably hot and the older couldn't fall asleep because she was terrified to leave the window open. What kind of a hotel suggest to keep the windows open throughout the night to regulate the air inside a room. We paid high dollar for this resort and received well below average satisfaction. I have never had to check if AC is available from any other hotel I stayed. It should be standard, specially because of the dangerous heat during summer months (100 degrees). Inquire about AC before you reserve a room here.

Upon checking in, we were told that we were given a room with a great view. We did not have a view. It was blocked by trees and looking down at the pool area that were extremely loud. There was nothing serene or relaxing about our room until 10pm when the pool closed. Because there is no AC, we had to leave the windows open and all we could hear were kids screaming and yelling in the pool, it was hard to even hear our TV.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be staying again. Such a beautiful town, lovely hotel, and just a great overall experience. The rooms were nice, the kids loved the pool, and I loved that my car was in a safe parking garage that requires a key card to get in. 10/10

The property is very nice and situated in a quiet neighborhood. The resort smelled clean, staffs are very nice. Room has basic amenities but cleaning could've been better. Small hiccups were hair from past guests were still on bathroom floor and tub, dusty lampshades and an unwelcome guest, a white mouse. He ran across our room and hiding under the sofa. When I complained to the front desk, the supervisor, he was very calm and told me that this is common in the resort because it is situated where there are lots if trees, in the woods and mice would come in because it's cold. I was very surprised by his comment as we have stayed at alot of skiing resorts and have never ever experienced that. Inaddition, we were not on the ground but rather up on the higher floor so not sure how he could even justify that. They did send two men to our room to trap the mouse but he ran into the fireplace therfore we couldn't turn our heater on higher otherwise the fireplace will ignite and roast the mouse in there. They had to apply tape outside the fireplace so that he couldn't escape and that made the whole room stank. We were given a choice to move but because it was getting late and our kids were all unpacked and settled in for the night already, we chose to stay there instead.
