Hilton Garden Inn Marina Del Rey

Fantastic hotel until you get to experience the room. We were in 1223 - a ground floor room. Beds were comfortable except one of the beds was up against the monstrosity of an air condition unit. Every time we put the air con on we it was like being at the side of a jet engine but with freezing cold air - yes I understand that’s how they are supposed to work but the kids couldn’t be in the bed or they froze to death let alone the noise - we also had the ground floor room overlooking the homeless gathering point I mean car park so we dare not open the patio windows at night. So we basically cooked all night. And then the doors to each room have the auto closer on maximum so you get the pleasure of hearing each one slam all through the night as other guests come and go. The walls are super thin too so you can hear the adjoining neighbours. The hotel and aesthetics are really good shame about the noisy room air con, door closers and paper thin walls

This Hotel was pretty bland and overpriced. Not exactly the Hilton experience. The staff were kind and attentive, but the grounds we're basic and not close to much. The breakfast buffet was the same price for adults and children ($22), but what you got was basically what you get for free at a Holiday Inn and no other options for breakfast. The AC in the room was right beside the bed and would blast you with stale air in the face at night. Best part was cheap overnight city parking in the lot beside the hotel ($7) or you could park under the hotel ($30+). Recommend staying elsewhere for a little bit more money to get better options for walkability, food, pool etc.

We are staying here to be in close proximity to family and friends. The grounds are lovely, fitness room good, available coin laundry, and wonderful staff. We've walked around too so exploring is user friendly.
