Hampton Inn & Suites Bakersfield/Hwy 58, CA

We stayed here to be close to family for 2 nights. I expected better from a Hampton Inn. The bed was comfortable but the sheets kept pulling out of the corners, the bathroom faucet was hard to turn off and on, the thermostat wasn't calibrated correctly so we had to keep messing with it. Also it did not have a fan only seting which would have been nice to drown out the VERY NOISY freeway. So sleeping was quite disrupted. The breakfast was better than most places and over all the hotel was clean and it had large elevators which is nice when you are using their luggage cart. Due to the freeway noise permeating the room, we won't stay here again.

When we got there the woman at the front desk was rude when I asked if they had a handicapped room with 2 beds available. I walk with a cane and I am permanently disabled it is obvious by looking at me but she seemed irritated that I even asked. Without even bothering to look at the computer she said, "No, we don't" Our room was dusty, and by accident, my husband pulled the fitted sheet when we were getting ready for bed. The mattress cover was disgusting it had other people's hair trapped in it, toilet paper, and it was dirty. The food for breakfast was extremely limited. They served sausage and eggs one day and the same leftover sausage the next you can tell by how dry it was. The people above us were moving furniture at 2 am. They had kids running through the halls and a dog 3 doors down barking every time someone walked by the door! Never again!! Worst place ever!

Are stay was good but the only problem was they had kids running around all over the hotel since we got there and they were loud did not us sleep it was to

overall we had good experience and we will use again and will recommend to friends and family.

We were staying for the Thanksgiving Holiday with family in Bakersfield. The hotel was clean, Breakfast was great. Options changed a little each day. Gotta love the waffles. Deposit isn't bad at all. We had gotten a dog while visiting during the middle of our stay. It was easy to add him. Did not get to use the pool. It was too cold. Bottom looked a little worn but its a pool in Bakersfield. Used the laundry facilities. Did not cost that much. King Room was great size. I was impressed with the size. Our room had
