Comfort Suites Jonesboro University Area

Room was just standard nothing fancy. Breakfast was good but didn’t keep it stocked. Had to wait or ask for more items. Breakfast as over at 10 but she was removing everything at 9:40. Sign on juice machine said out of order but worked the day before and worked the next morning. Just don’t think employee wanted to mess with it. Pool was clean but very cold in pool area. Bathroom shower area needs some updates. Our family had 4 rooms and we all paid a different price.

Our stay was decent. The staff was friendly and the room was clean besides the coffee pot. Breakfast was good. I was a little concerned with the rat traps (never saw rats) around the building. I don't know if that's normal for hotels or the area but maybe make them less noticeable. The Internet was awful, if I was there for business I would have been pretty upset. Also my MIL tried to take a bath and the water was cold, it could have been because the people above us. This was a whole other issue which I know isn't the hotels fault but someone should be checking the doors at night. That family kept propping the back door open, we were in the last two rooms next to that door, on the first floor, with 2 small kids in the room. They stomped around above us well into the night and also the shower ran non-stop (hence no hot water), until I complained to the front desk. I'm assuming they were letting people into the room that weren't supposed to be there. Doesn't make a person feel safe. Otherwise, I've been to much worse and much better places.

When I arrived staff was extremely rude! After he handed me the key to my room he told me the elevator was not working. As he made the comment he turned away as if I was not still standing there. I understand things happen but I saw an elderly couple having a hard time due to the elevators did not work and NO one offered any help. The next morning the maids were extremely nice but were very tired due to having to carry bags of lunch back and forth up and down the stairs! One maid told me the elevator has been down several weeks and no one made a point to rush getting it fixed. The service was NOT good at all. The ladies during breakfast were upset with some of the kids who were just playing being kids. They had maybe two that spoke and interacted with the guest. It was horrible.

The room was great and spacious....a nice looking place... breakfast was good...but I requested my room to be cleaned and it was not done when I got back...and also pool door was disabled but my kids seen a man in there after we were told it was not accessible at the time...it was odd lol.... overall ok visit
