Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hot Springs, an IHG Hotel

So upon arriving early the front desk didn’t even bother looking to see if our room was available. Instead they automatically said it wasn’t and the only two available were for people with funerals. So we come back 45 minutes later and check in and it went rather smoothly, but of course the two ladies that were there earlier were not there at that time. We get settled into our room which was nice and clean except for the carpet which had stains everywhere. After settling in our room we decided to take the grandkids to the pool which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. It had an indoor pool that looked nice and big in the pictures. We get to pool and it’s so murky and has a super strong bleach smell. So there was no way we were getting in the pool when you couldn’t see the bottom and full of chemicals waiting to chemically burn all of us!! So if you’re looking for a hotel with a nice pool avoid this hotel at all costs!

Small hotel that needs to be updated. It served it’s purpose for my family but i don’t think I will stay here again

Easy to get to, enough room for family

The long haired man at the desk was terrible. He lectured me multiple times on booking with Expedia. He claimed they could only use 4 certain rooms for Expedia customers and they were dirty at 7:30 pm so we waited over an hour. He is running this hotel in the ground with his behavior. The entire lobby was full at 8pm with families waiting on their rooms to be cleaned. Thankfully the housekeepers were kind and did a great job. The pool was made to look way better in photos it was pretty run down. Breakfast was cold. I hate writing poor reviews but with this experience and $250 for a room it is necessary.

We stayed at this resort with children. We visited magic springs and Crystal falls. Very clean. Very soft and comfortable beds. Had an amazing time. Close to many restaurants and shopping places.

I requested on my reservation that we get no feather pilliows because my family is allergic. When we got to the room to go to bed around 9pm, we noticed we had feather pillows. I called front desk she said sorry and she’d bring me some non feather pillows. I stayed up till 11 she never brought us new pillows. We pulled all the feather pillows at the door and slept on small pillows we brought. Unacceptable in my opinion since they knew we were allergic!! Now I’m sick, nothing life threatening but lots of sneezing and congestion!!

As a family of five, I needed space and this hotel provides exactly that and more. The hotel has great staff and is very friendly. The hotel is located in a great area with shopping, restaurants, and a Wal-Mart across the street.

On the first night the neighbors (adults & kids) were loud until after midnight. The second night was much better.

How they treated us the first day we checked into the hotel and my family enjoy morning breakfast.

There was a slight hiccup at check-in and I had to wait for a room to be cleaned. The concierge was very apologetic and gave us a key to the pool while we waited so my 7 year old and 11 year old could go ahead and swim while we waited. My only complaint is that there were no towels in the pool area so my little ones had to walk through the hotel wet. We will definitely stay again because the rooms and accommodations were 5 star for sure.
