La Quinta Inn by Wyndham El Dorado

Not the worst experience but also not the best. Beware of the $50 incidental deposit that’s required at checkin but not mentioned on this site. This hotel boasts about being pet-friendly but never mentioned the $25 per night PET RENT (not a deposit) so please beware and come prepared to pay. The pool was emptied and the front desk guy told us they “technically” have a pool, just not filled. The kids were really disappointed. The TV in our room didn’t work properly. A previous guest destroyed the USB plug in and we had to chance rooms to get a TV that worked. Breakfast was decent although there was no meat to speak of. Overall, I expected better for $100 a night but seems like inflation has just caused the prices to go up so you’re getting a 2 star hotel with a huge price tag and added fees.
