La Posada Hotel

Walking from the parking lot to check in you have a feeling of being in another century when things were simpler. George and Omar were very professional and friendly and I could sense that they were very proud of the hotel. I was a bit nervous as we had a second floor room and a toddler and a pregnant daughter but the circular staircase was easy to get up and down. We were in no rush the next day and walked the property and sat and watched the trains go by. We brought earplugs to sleep but a couple pair were provided if you don’t have your own. I felt like I had traveled back in time as I walked around the grounds here. 59 years ago I rode on the El Capitan with my parents and sisters heading out east and memories came flooding back It was a short 5 minute walk to the corner that is dedicated to the Eagles. Even though I am a fan and have seen them in concert a couple of times, I didn’t care for the commercialization of the spot. .

My husband and I stayed her for an evening away. The hotel is unique and has a lot of history. Our room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. This is good place to stay for adults who like good food and a unique hotel. We have an infant and we both agreed that it wouldn’t be a place we would want to stay with her if we had a choice due to the age of the property. The hotel grounds are safe and there is tourism within walking distance but in general the surrounding (Winslow) are not great.

We went to La Posada for a quick overnight stay with our adult children and we couldn't have had a better experience. The rooms were great! The dinner was excellent! And, breakfast the next morning was fantastic. Will surely go back.

Winslow is the town I grew up in and I love that I can come back and enjoy a wonderful stay and enjoy good food. I love the location and the downtown area. My family and I loved our stay at the La Posada Hotel.

La Posada is like a step back in time, with all comfort and conviences of today! The staff is very friendly, knowledgable, even to our four legged baby! I recommend La Posada to everyone! See you next time!

We love La Posada for it's charm, history, and the staff! The staff treat you as family, including the dogs. The only down aide is the lack of lite food offerings. It's not a big player though because of the availability of pkaces nearby! Excellent!!!!
