Amara was amazing! The scenery and proximity to all the shops on uptown was perfect. The staff and service was top notch too. Pool also has a babyling brook behind it with natural views of wildlife that really makes you feel like you’re in nature. Highly recommend staying here for your Sedona trip

Amazing hotel!!! Since arrival we were treated like royalty. Beautiful hospital grounds; great big and comfortable room overlooking a creek. Extremely polite and attentive staff. We are staying there for a birthday getaway and once we arrived to the room, we were received with Birthday Macaroons. Im definitely planning on staying here again and making it a family trip. Thanks for everything Amara!

My husband and I stayed for his 40th birthday. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. The front desk was so kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. The resort and rooms were beautiful and clean. I loved the lotion and bathroom extras. I cannot wait to bring our family here!

Beautiful hotel with a great location! Perfect for my family of 4 including two kiddos. We loved eating lunch by the pool and the golf cart rides to the main strip.

We had a wonderful stay at Amara! We spent 5 nights at the resort for our anniversary. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the valet staff and concierge. Since we arrived early, so our room wasn’t ready. By the time we ate lunch, we were notified the room was ready for us. Shortly after settling in our room, we were treated to champagne and chocolate strawberries in recognition of our anniversary. What a great way to start our trip! Since this was our first time in Sedona, we weren’t sure if Amara’s location would be walkable to shops and restaurants, but it was ideal! Amara is not a huge resort, but the quaint feel and personal attention is just what we were hoping for. There was a great mix of guests ranging from young families to couples both young and old. While there are other restaurants off property nearby, we ate at Salt Rock several times. The ambiance, food and service were top notch! The pool area seemed rather small, but we still were able to find lounge chairs (even for a holiday weekend). Another wonderful option if one needs to cool off is the creek behind the resort. There is a walkway leading to the creek side and a chair swing where one can enjoy the surroundings. We truly had a wonderful stay at Amara and are so happy we chose to stay here! Thank you to each and everyone who made our time memorable. We will definitely look forward to returning!

Hotel is finely appointment but far from a 5 star resort. Staff is courteous but not at the level expected. Food is good but expensive for what you get. Menu is very sparse. Serving staff, although friendly, are a bit too "chummy" for my taste. A lot of inappropriate talking among staff that should not be happening among guests. The pool area is very small and the pool itself is only 3 feet deep. There was no staff around the pool in any of the six days we stayed at the resort. You had to walk to the bar if you wanted any refreshments. Also, this is NOT an adults only resort, so if you are as unlucky as we were to be there at the same time as there were a couple of families with their loud, 5 year old children, then forget about "relaxing" around the pool. Bring earphones. There is a nice walkway behind the pool that takes you to the river that runs behind the resort. Truly beautiful and serene. The path takes you to the next resort "L'Auberge de Sedona" which is very beautiful and perhaps the place we will stay next time we visit Sedona (we did not see any children there). The view of the mountains is this resort is their best asset. Really beautiful. You get to see "Snoopy and Lucy" vey clearly (look it up). There was some construction being done around the green area you see on the advertising photos when we were there., but the workers kept noise at a minimum. Hopefully they will be done with it when you visit. Also there is only Valet parking, although
