Stayed for one night first time at this hotel, family of 4. Parking lot was a mess with storage boxes for remodeling. Staff was very professional and polite. Room was remodeled nice but cramped. They left the "cottage cheese" ceilings though. Random "Recovery Fees" and Parking fees charged on a pre-paid room? This was not a downtown hotel. Not cool!

Why is the pool out of service? We literally picked this hotel so the kids could swim. The hot tub is a 6 foot diameter circle and that’s all that was open. Breakfast was late in the morning, but that was due to short staffing and to her credit she was trying.

The not so good: The room was a little small when compared to similarly priced rooms. While the mini fridge kept things very cold, it was noisy requiring me to use earplugs to sleep. In the room that we stayed, the WiFi was completely unusable. The great: Kudos for the breakfast. Our family always enjoys the breakfast at HIE hotels. There was plenty of parking. The pool and jacuzzi was great. The staff was also great and we had no issues when interacting with them.
