Picton House Hotel

We came to celebrate our Anniversary and my birthday to an area we have not visited before but had always wanted too, I booked this off the internet and from the minute we walked through the door it was like we were part of the family, Holly and Gareth were both welcoming and very friendly, nothing seemed too much trouble, the room (room 1) was lovely with view over the river. We dined in all 3 nights as the food was delicious and varied, on my birthday Holly came out with my pudding with a firework in and they all sang happy birthday which was lovely. The locals were so friendly too and we enjoyed their company. We will definitely come again and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you for such a wonderful stay, keep doing what you do as you both are what this hotel is all about.

We were pleasantly surprised by Picton House. Holly and Gareth were the perfect hosts and made us feel part of the family in no time. They are still in the process of refurbishment but the main part of the hotel and our room was amazing and had been finished to the highest standards. The food was really good too thanks to a great chef.
