Second time we’ve stayed there. Very happy with the upgraded room but the shower drain was blocked which flooded the bathroom floor which would have reached the main room carpet if I hadn’t used the towels to mop up the flood. Apart from that it’s a beautiful building and full of character. The staff were very friendly and helpful a very tired English couple. We were fortunate to get the last parking space in the car park but had missed any food preparation, which was ok as we’d eaten. The breakfast was ok and no rush going to 11am, the save as checkout time. We have family very nearby and will always use this hotel when we visit them.

Very clean hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. Our room was well made up. The beds were very comfortable I fell right to sleep. We had a family room with a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom was clean. We only stayed two nights but we were surprised when we went out and came back to the beds made, very nice. Would stay again.

This hotel was a little gem. We had a family room and it was absolutely huge! As was the bathroom. The room and downstairs area looked recently renovated and looked great - think Lust wallpaper with a bit of Abigail Ahern. Definately recommend.
