Excellent location. The staff were fantastic. Good breakfast. Room could have been a little more modernised but was great for whole family. Comfy bed

This was booked as a spur of the moment trip away before getting the ferry over to Ireland. The outside is not bad on appearance. Foyer is nice enough and the reception area is... unremarkable really. Lots of children running around. The stairs up to our room the carpet is threadbare and dated. The light fittings on the second floor had such a layer of dust on it and you could actually see the layer rather than look for it - pretty yuk! The corridor has an aroma of mustiness. Overall it was a bed for the night which I only paid the taxes for as I used my club card vouchers for - so £20. We decided against using the leisure center - for obvious reasons. We didn't use the restaurant either as you could only book in for certain times - which is a shame as I really wanted a redeeming quality! But you know a shame really! It's just dated is all - like 80s dated.
