We stayed here for a family holiday. Other than the fact that it a slightly far from the main area everything about this place is great. They had amazing breakfast and there are quite a few restaurants near this hotel. We had a comfortable stay!

Perhaps not the hotel’s fault but it was overwhelmed by a huge group of children and adults coming to the university for a football event. There was nowhere else to go so they converged on the hotel bar. The hotel wasn’t staffed for it leading to queues and excessive noise. The staff did their best but it wasn’t what we wanted after five hours driving. The hotel was also too warm and not air conditioned- an unusual complaint in Scotland but everywhere gets some summer.

Room is rated for 2 adults and a 11 yo child, with one single double bed. Just be aware one of you three is going to be on the floor.
