Brisbane House Hotel

My family and I were given rooms at the back of the property which were quite noisy, due to the noise from extractor fans. As the room felt hot, even though the temperature outside was only 12 degC we had to open the window so could not shut out the noise. I think the rooms in the hotel could benefit from air conditioning especially in the summer. There were no evening meals provided in the hotel (we were informed of this beforehand) which was disappointing. However we managed to find quite a few restaurants during our stay. The best bit about a stay in this hotel is that it is within walking distance to most of the cafes, restaurants, railway station, the pier/ferry port, pebbly beach and the views from the front of the hotel.

The family room was fine, apart from the external views and noise. The room looked over the rear where the noise from external air conditioning units was loud & the opposite side the banquet room and a carpark, again noisy. Not ideal for children sleeping.
