Holiday Inn Express Derry - Londonderry, an IHG Hotel

Always have a great stay here my favourite hotel I return quite regularly birthdays anniversaries family weekends girls trips staff are friendly always pleasant and helpful hotel is spotless great location

The hotel itself is great. The stuff was friendly and helpful, the place was very clean and nice. The mattress is a bit tough but still good. The only bad thing is that it's across the street from The Trinity, which is a very loud bar/lounge during the weekends. If you're a young person or someone not traveling with kids that enjoys the nightlife and a great location, this place is for you. We have 2 kids and I value a good night sleep over nightlife, so, although the hotel is close to many amenities and touristic attractions, just because of The Trinity's extremely loud music, I can't say this hotel was the right place for us

Asked for mulled wine/port. Neither available. Menu showed side salad with the meal I bought. I had to request it. Shower gel container empty on arrival. Removed from holder and left on shelf. Still empty when we left after 2 nights. Found child's hat on shelf in bedroom - gave to receptionist. On the up side all staff we encountered were very helpful and appeared happy in their role.
