Holiday Inn London - Sutton, an IHG Hotel

Enjoyed our 3 night stay, close enough to London and station close by, Gatwick 30 minutes away too Rooms were well equipped and big enough for our family of 4 Breakfast was great lots of choice Would definitely book again

Lovely clean hotel. My boys loved the pool and the food was incredible. They have a lovely restaurant with so much choice for evening meals so no need to leave the hotel. Wish I knew this before I came as we spent a good hour driving around trying to find food before we checked in! Breakfast was good value for money also. Only gripe is the sofa bed for the kids was rock hard and they didn’t sleep well. would stay again if I could get a bed for them too

At checkin my family and I were greeted by a polite wonderful gentleman who gave the kids some arts and crafts presents which kids really liked. He answered all questions we had and was very helpful especially in organising the cot bed for my 3y.o. daughter which was free of charge. The room was reasonably clean, we had clean towels, soap,shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper available. Bed sheets clean straight and white (no stains and smelled fresh), we had tea and coffee available in room but we didn’t use it, we had iron,iron board, hair dryer available which we didn’t hope we would. There was some road noise audible at night when sleeping and the room was kinda cold during night as I couldn’t get the aircon to work and warmup the room. Swimming pool was available until 21:00 (last entry 20:30) and the shopping street restaurants were within walk distance as well as the rail station. Breakfast buffet was free for kids and for 2 adults they charged £20, so very good value for money, food fresh, tasty and plenty to choose from, plenty of refreshments and fruits to choose from as well. Both kitchen and hotel were kind,respectful and helpful. Parking was £12 for 24 hours and you can prolong it via your phone using the parking code for as long as you need. All in all was a wonderful experience. We almost felt at home there.

Holiday Inn London –Sutton IHG Hotel. We booked a couple nights at Holiday Inn London, through Expedia and OMG what a mistake. This place is a dump & worse than Motel 6 in America. Not even a homeless will enjoy staying at this place. It was a humiliating experience. The place is outdated and dirty and lacking required daily maintenance. The worst part was that the first day we got stuck in the shower without running water. We couldn’t even shower…. No kidding!!! We notified staff in three different occasions, and they did not assist at all. We waited for more than two hours to no avail, and they didn’t even have the courtesy to notify us of the issue. Moreover, as tourists, we lost money for bookings for that day in London. In the name of justice… the least they could do is refund the money that was paid for that horrible stay and offset the losses to compensate the troubles and losses as we lost the other travel and amenities bookings. Stay away from Holiday Inn London –Sutton IHG Hotel…or, do it at your own risk!

Lovely hotel. No narrow corridors. Extremely spacious suite with two rooms. Good dining options and well stocked breakfast buffet. The kids eat free offer makes dining quite affordable overall. Loved our stay.

We stayed here to visit Chessington with the kids. The facilities with a pool were great. The room was big and beds comfy. Staff all around the hotel were happy and helpful. Good meal offer in the evening and make sure to pay for your breakfast via the hotel reception to get a discount on the massive breakfast bar.

Was convenient for Sutton and my family. The bathroom was my only gripe. So old fashioned. Wasn't expecting a shower in the bath and a shower curtain. Somewhat cramped.

Excellent stay, very helpful and friendly staff who go above and beyond. Loads of extras thrown in which made our stay so much better, for example, no charge in car park, free snacks for the children and what made a MASSIVE difference to me, was that the children ate free in the restaurant.
