I had to carry my baby in the pram up on the 2nd floor, because the lift was broken. The staff did not help and I asked another guest. I think there is only about 13-15 parking spaces, so probably you'll end up paying extra for the car park. The swimming pool is only little and the jacuzzi was out of order. Amazing food, perfectly cooked breakfast!

I love unique hotels and this definitely pleased. The entire family enjoyed our stay. Everything we wanted to do in Portsmouth was in walking distance. Having the restaurant and bar in the hotel was so convenient, we didn't need to go anywhere else. The staff was so very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in a twin room for one night. We were given a family room . plenty of space and very warm during very cold weather. The bathroom was tired and issues with the temperature in the shower. Plenty of bar facilities and a substantial buffet breakfast. Would stay here again. Ideally located for the dockyard, gunwharf and harbour train station

I arrived late and left early so didn't make much use of the facilities. Parking is scarce here but I was able buy a permit from the hotel to park on the side street for £4.50. The room was comfortable. I woul recommend this hotel for a family on holiday.

A large hotel and Navy club with on-site parking, an ideal place to leave the car whilst in the city. Building is full of club memorabilia with a friendly atmosphere. Our double room, in the West wing was in fact a family suite - well appointed. Breakfast was full buffet English/Continental - plenty of choice. We will return.
