Orton Hall Hotel & Spa

On 04/02/2024 Breakfast staff was very rude,we booked 1 family room for 3 and and one room for two,she accused my of coming back my kids twice to eat when I was waiting for them to get ready downstairs, my kids after refused to eat any food...no tea or coffee was offered....I was thinking breakfast was included in price!.....I requested nice windows view...was in cemetery, room was full of dust and mosquitos, furniture damaged, behind the bed I found receipt from 05/01/2024.for family of 3 for 2nights a had only 2 toilet rolls,on the windows I found many spiders web and dry spiders ,as a disable person I was given room upstairs, which make me difficulties to get in there.all other staff really nice and friendly,in the dinner restaurant I wasn't offered dinner table due to no space when was dinning area been busy,and wasn't clean.

The stay was very comfortable, the staff is lovely and the swimming pool is such a great plus. I would go again to Orton Hall with my family.

Although a little run down in places it was a lovely hotel. We took the children as a surprise night away and they loved it. The family room was massive. It was very warm but they did provide a fan. The pool facilities were good but could only go for an hour and we had to book. I understand it was the holidays but when we were there it was very quiet. Breakfast was good but there were no allegens listed which made it difficult for me as i have a dairy allergy. Overall it was a lovely hotel and we would stay again.
