Great location when exploring the Kensington area as very walkable to attractions, shopping, restaurants and pubs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a little smaller but designed well to accommodate a family of 4 with 3 of the most comfortable beds. Be mindful of the street noise as we were on the main floor so could hear people outside.

Hotel Staff Transport Scam. BEWARE!!! Unfortunately, I have to give this hotel a one star review. They put myself and my child in a dangerous and uncomfortable situation. On the morning of my check-out (which up until this point had been lovely), I asked the staff to please call me a taxi. They were a bit rude and asked me if I had the money to pay for a taxi to the airport, i forming me of the price. I let them know it was no problem and then they asked me of I would be paying cash or card- I replied that I would be paying by card. They then called the "taxi service" and gave them my info...including room number for some reason, evn though I had just checked out and was in the lobby. When the "taxi" arrived it was just a man in his own personal vehicle....like an Uber (which I could have easily called myself-for a cheaper fare). Because of time constraints, I had to accept the "taxi", despite feeling uneasy about it. As we neared the destination, the driver then insisted I pay with cash. When reminded him I told the hotel that I only had a card, he tried insisting I pay with cash and wanted to take me to an ATM to pay him. I was afraid to go to the ATM with him or to leave my child in the car alone to go pay, so I continued to refuse until he finally produced a credit card machine for me to pay with. This "taxi" clearly has some sort of arrangement with the hotel staff there. I wouldn't risk staying here again due to this. It made me feel very unsafe.

I stayed here with family during festive time. Hotel location is excellent. Major London landmarks are within 20-30 min reach. Rooms were clean and very well managed. I booked family room which was in basement. It had window for natural light but not any view which ws bit disappointment.

Stayed in London for 6 days. This hotel is walking distance to Portabello Market and Queensway where you’ll find tons of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and kind. The hotel will even hold your luggage after checkout. We booked the “family of 4” room for 3 adults and although the room is on the smaller side.. it was perfectly fine for the 3 of us. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would even stay again if I happen to return to London one day.

We had a wonderful stay at the London House hotel. The hotel is lovely and the room was a good size and very clean. We are a family of 4 and stayed in the ground level room which was perfect for us. (It’s not a basement…if you’ve been to NYC it’s considered ground level). It had a big window. A little more storage would be good—the room had tables & a wardrobe but not many small cabinets for all our stuff. The bathroom was a very nice size, modern, and clean. The lobby is beautiful and the location is near 2 different underground stations which makes it very easy to get everywhere in the city. Kensington is quiet and we loved the calm neighborhood after a busy day. The staff at the front desk were friendly and so helpful. We loved it. We will be back.

The 3-bed family room was located in the basement, which had only one tiny window for light (no view) and was chilly, uncomfortable, and depressing. No other rooms available to change to. Would not recommend unless you plan only sleep in it.

It was a perfect hotel in the perfect location to explore all of London. My family of four fit comfortably in the suite with one double bed and two twins. The front desk was delightfully helpful in their suggestions.
