Hampton by Hilton Torquay

Couldn’t fault it! Great location, lovely staff. Great sized family room. Brilliant breakfast

We stayed here for 1 week. The room was large for 1 adult 2 kids nice decor xl tv couldnt access bbc red button. Bathroom was clean could do with toilet brush. The room was regularly cleaned daily. There was a variety of breakfast choices. Continental, hot breakfast , waffles and omelette. Late check up is plus no need to rush in morning would stay again.

Excellent position, just a stones throw from the harbour, restaurants and pubs. The family room we had for the 3 of us (8 year old granddaughter) with us was excellent. Buffet Breakfast for a large hotel was the best we’ve ever had. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved it, only stayed one night but it was the best night sleep I have had in years. That is not an exaggeration. Even my two kids said the same I would go back there just to get another night sleep like that.

Had an amazing stay here with my family . Rooms were clean. Had a really good sleep , comfortable bed . No noise perfect . Breakfast choice was great .

Hotel is very nice, rooms are modern and spotlessly clean - communal areas are all immaculate and well presented. Free wifi is good Restaurant is very nice, decent quality - nice breakfast Location is pretty good, really close to the harbour so lots of pretty boats and sea to look, very pretty gardens as you walk along towards the Bowling / Rugby club BUT ..... Unfortunately Torquay does have a homeless / drug problem and they all hang around near to Hoopers (by the hotel) - i'm not being mean by the way but if you have young kids they may not feel that comfortable with some of the characters staggering around - maybe Torquay council could find a way to help these people, provide support and offer some help. The other issue is the lack of parking - there are nearby streets where you can pay to park but all spaces were taken - we eventually found a street about a 10 min walk away but beware, it is surrounded by very steep roads and hills. If you have large bags, suitcases or any mobility challenges be aware of the lack of parking - sadly it would put us off staying again, nothing wrong with the hotel but after a 6 hour drive it would be nice to not have to worry about where to park. This would put us off staying again, there are loads of other hotels in Torquay and Paignton so lots of choice.

Myself and my husband stayed for the first time at the Hampton by Hilton in torquay. The hotel is amazing, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. Will definitely be returning back here soon for a family get away.
